The book is a directory of more than 200 waterfalls in West Virginia. It is arranged by regions in accordance with this map by the W.V. Department of Commerce.

This is one of the graphics I have created to give you an idea of what is in a particular section or chapter. This is a map of the Gauley River National Recreation Area. It’s there to help you plan your outings so that you can see many falls in one area while you are there.
This is typical of a chapter heading. Each chapter begins with a basic map with the location of all falls in that region.
Here we see the end of a section where Peachtree Falls ends the section, and then we pick up with the area along U.S. 60 leading into Fayetteville.
